Alpine Village - Study in photorealism with Thea Render
Made with SketchUp 2018 + Thea Render for SketchUp, the project specifically focused on finding a believable balance between Thea's fog medium and the camera's DOF (Depth of field values) over large distances. Presto MC was used for this project and the DOF chosen for these renders was set to 3 with a focal distance at a rooftop in the middle of the village.
The fog medium value was set at 1 and the balance between HDR lighting and sun "power" did the rest. This swiss village project was constructed using 3d warehouse models and KP's large Alpine Hotel assets https://www.facebook.com/259430530769198/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1647300661982171
